This is our most poular throttle or gearshift control cable range as these Universal Premium cables suit most outboards and sterndrives  including Yamaha® / Suzuki® / Honda® / Nissan® / Tohatsu® / Selva® as well as many other popular engines.

These Premiuim EDGE control cables are interchangeable with Seastar Solutions®, Morse® Telfex Morse and Ultraflex® control cables.  They are also compatible with Seastar Solutions® part number CCX633 and Ultraflex® part number MACHZero.

These Multiflex Edge EEC-133 Universal Premium Blue control cables are much more flexible so installation is easy.

Features:

• Very flexible and strong ensuring minimum friction. Ideal for long or complex runs with tight radius bends.
• Blue outer jacket with 10-32 UNF stainless steel threaded ends.

How to Measure Boat Engine Throttle/Gearshift Control Cable Lengths: 

For New Installations: Measure A & B distance from the control box along an unobstructed route to throttle or clutch connection on the motor. For outboard engines add a further three feet to allow for engine movement. Round this dimension up to the next whole foot.
For Replacement Cables: Measure the existing cable from tip to tip in feet and round up to next whole foot.
Any cable bends should have a minimum diameter of 8” 200mm - or just 100mm for theses EDGE Premium cables.

Tip: On outboards both cables are usually the same length whilst on inboards one cable is usually longer than the other.
