The Enerdrive ePower EN3DC30-24V Battery Charger is a fully automatic multistage, multi input battery charger with the ability to charge from either an alternator linked to a battery; or via solar power with the in built Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) Solar Controller. With two inputs available, the main/house battery will be charged from either the engine while underway, or via the solar panels when stationary.
The process to choose either engine or solar is fully automatic and both functions are controlled from within the unit itself without the need for external relays.

Charge Your Deep Cycle Batteries Whilst Driving - ePower DC2DC Chargers
When driving to new camp sites and adventures in your 4WD or motor home, it makes sense to use the extra power that your vehicle’s alternator is generating to charge your deep cycle battery bank (usually known as the “house battery bank”).
That’s where this 24V DC to 24V DC (battery to battery) charger can be used.
Once your vehicle’s alternator has charged your start battery, extra charge can be transferred from the start battery to your deep cycle battery bank, which means you should have more battery power when you arrive in your van or motorhome to set up camp.
Some 4WD guys who free camp simply use it to charge a deep cycle battery in the back of their 4WD, as it is ideal for topping the power up for an energy hungry esky style fridge box.
It can also be used to top up a trailer boat’s electric motor batteries.
